Forming question tags تشكيل السؤال الملحق بجملة
هو عبارة عن سؤال قصير يأتي في نهاية الجملة بعد الفاصلة و الغرض منه التوكيد على الفعل الوارد في الجملة و يتألف من :
( ضمير + فعل مساعد ) فقط وذلك على النحو التالي :

ضمير الفاعل...........فعل مساعد منفي............فعل مساعد مثبت..................أسم/ ضمير الفاعل

ملاحظة : يجب أن يكون النفي بالشكل المختصردائماً
Exceptions : حالات استثنائية
لا يجوز وضع الفعل في النفي إذا عبرت الجملة عن اقتراح أو طلب كما في الأمثلة التالية :
- تقديم خدمة... ?I will make you some coffee, shall I
- تقديم اقتراح... ?Let's go to the zoo, shall we
- طلب أمر... ?close the door. would you
- حالة شاذة... ?I am your friend, aren't I

- 1) The present simple: الزمن المضارع ( الحاضر ) البسيط
