Nowhere to Go

He turned off his television, fled the hustle and bustle of city life and headed for the desert. He took his family and what they needed to live safely. They found in the moon a companion, and in the roosters’ crowing and the sheep’s bleating a solace. Then a venomous snake bit his daughter, sand dunes swallowed his son; and his wife, overcome by grief over the demise of her two children, also died. 0

أين المفرّ

أغلق التلفاز ،هاجرًا المدينةَ، وصخبَ الحضارةِ فيها إلى الصحراء مع عائلته،وما يلزمهم لحياة آمنة، سميرهم القمر، وأنيس وحدتهم صياح الديكة وثغاء الأغنام، إلى أن قرص حنشٌ عابرٌ ابنته، وطمرت الكثبان الرملية أخاها،وماتت زوجته قهرًا على ولديها، فعاد إلى بيته في المدينة يتنقل بين محطات الأخبار.
